I’m finally getting to creating a custom calendar for my kids on the Sam’s Club photo center site. I started with my sons as you can see here…

I love the personalizing I could do, not just with photos but with text too! I added test throughout the year for birthdays, school vacations, school events, etc. It’s going to be awesome to have the kids be able to track things they want to remember!

Here’s a quick glimpse of the text adding feature…

So I finally started to forage through the gazillion photos I took on our Maine/Canada trip this summer and put some into a photo book. I’m thinking for grandparents and the kids to have of their summer memories. Watch the video and see how easy it is to make a photo book at the CVS online photo site!

I have the coolest parents EVER! Not only have they helped me a ton with the kids this summer, but I got to work in my Dad’s tricked out office for the day. Such a treat! To get an idea of what my summer’s been like trying to work from home, check out my Dream Big, Live Authentically blog.

Aside from my consistent unconditional gratitude, here’s what else I’m doing for them as a thank you…

Totally digging some of the new options at the Costco photo site as well as the sales they have there right now.

My fabulous daughter has started a pet sitting business. So far this summer, we’ve had a miniature pincher named Esme and a hamster named Gobby at our house. She’s also taken care of some neighborhood cats. It’s time to start handing out business cards! I found these great templates on the Walmart Photo Centre site and made these fantastic 2 sided cards for her. I can’t WAIT till she sees them. With her entrepreneurial skills and my sons creative inventions…we should be able to take that trip to Cyprus we’ve been planning in no time :)

I thought this would be fun and cool for my kids especially since they are going back and forth between my house and their dad’s. They can track their soccer practice/game schedules, any school projects due too and when their breaks are, etc. Plus, look at cool pics each month! I’m having some fun on the Sam’s Club Photo site this week!

Here’s the picture I used…Great family pic with great scenery!

Family Vacation

Coincidentally, it’s his birthday next week so hopefully I’ll get the blanket in time to give it to him! Then he can have his family wrapped around him. How sweet is that?!?!

Saint John, NB trip!

Just got back from our trip from New Harbor, ME to Saint John, New Brunswick where we attended my Great Aunt Vi’s memorial service. She died last year at 106! Seriously…106. Great family roots and peeps and stories there. Kids got to play with cousins they only see once a year. We swam in Loch Lommond where my great aunt and Gramma and many others played as children. I love the family history! While we were there, I had the opportunity to visit a Walmart Canada and make a video of me making a photo collage of the memorial service at one of the most beautiful cemetaries I have ever seen!

I was amazed at how big the Walmart photo centre was in Saint John!
