My 2010 photo calendar ~ Part 1

So over the past few months I’ve made a bunch of calendars for my kids, friends, etc…but I forgot about me! So I went to the CVS Photo Center site and started uploading photos. When I got there I noticed that they have a new photo uploader so I thought I’d start off by showing the uploader and then will show the process of making the calendar in my next post… Pretty cool!

Here’s a video that shows how to tag the photos once you upload…

It seems like there are more options for calendar making here now.

My Holiday Scrapbook Pages

I had a really tough time keeping the Holiday Scrapbook page to one so here are the series of 3 I chose from to add to my attempt at documenting snapshots for each month of the year :)

I love that I have the option on the Sam’s Club photo site to pick a series of layouts with the same theme.

My favs from CES

I just got back from CES 2010 and what an amazing show it was. Unfortunately, I spent more time in meetings than exploring the show floor but there were a few products that caught my eye. Here’s a glimpse of those…

The Polaroid Instant Mobile Printer is available at Costco and the Polaroid site for $49.99 and the Instant Digital Camera is at the Polaroid site for $199. I’m coveting the Polaroid Pogo Instant Digital Camera right now and my birthday is less than a month away (hint, hint) :)

The Sony Bloggie is another great birthday present for me. So cool. I’d go for the Bloggie Camera Kit for $189.99. It comes with the 360 video attachment and a 4GB memory stick.  Check out the fun colors (I personally like it in eggplant).  Here’s a review with video footage of the Sony Bloggie.

Here are the Etymotic earphones that are my new favorite. The stay in my ears comfortably and block out other noise. I can’t wait to head out for a trail run with these!

You can get an Eye-Fi card at Costco for $59.95…the best deal I’ve found so far. Here’s the link to my review of the Eye-Fi card.

Some shameless self promotion… Here are some video interviews (one including me) from Pixalated Geek at the It Won’t Stay In Vegas party at the Atomic Testing Museum put on by the Parnassus Group and Scoble. Awesome sponsors like Blackberry, Clear, PlayStation, and many others

There are countless other great posts and videos from CES 2010… If you are interested, I’d start here with Robert Scoble’s post.

I didn’t take nearly the pictures that I meant to take, but here are a few below.

How I created a coffee table book of my nature photos.

It’s no secret that I LOVE being outdoors, hiking and photography. I always have my canon camera handy and nature shots that are inspiring, calming or empowering are my favorites. I love trees, rocks and water and take tons of photos. Luckily, I have an Eye-Fi wireless SD card so my life is SO much easier when it comes to uploading photos to flickr and facebook. See more about my Eye-Fi card here.

I decided awhile ago that I wanted to make a coffee table book of my favorite nature shots of 2009 so here is a video of my experience making the book at the Walmart Photo Centre
