I’m working on rethinking the direction of my Today’s Ellen blog so haven’t posted in awhile. I WILL be back soon however and would love some suggestions for video “how-tos” that you are interested in seeing in relation to fun options for photos.

What I Did This Summer…My CVS Photo Book!

So I finally started to forage through the gazillion photos I took on our Maine/Canada trip this summer and put some into a photo book. I’m thinking for grandparents and the kids to have of their summer memories. Watch the video and see how easy it is to make a photo book at the CVS online photo site!

Photo calendar idea for kids “back to school” organization

I thought this would be fun and cool for my kids especially since they are going back and forth between my house and their dad’s. They can track their soccer practice/game schedules, any school projects due too and when their breaks are, etc. Plus, look at cool pics each month! I’m having some fun on the Sam’s Club Photo site this week!

My Other Sweet Nephew’s Cool Family Photo Blanket Idea

I was hitting up my other nephew and his friends for good ideas about what they would like to have from the photo gift options at the Sam’s Club site and this is what they came up with…

Here’s the picture I used…Great family pic with great scenery!

Coincidentally, it’s his birthday next week so hopefully I’ll get the blanket in time to give it to him! Then he can have his family wrapped around him. How sweet is that?!?!

My Pillows Came! I Heart CVS…

I forgot to talk about the great quality of the pillows from the CVS online photo site on the video… These things are SO COOL! I can’t wait to make more and start collecting them for my nephew. Check it out…

My cool nephew’s new photo idea.

So I totally LOVE this idea. My 12 year old nephew is brilliant!

I’m thinking a family of pillows, a memorial pillow of my recently deceased dog, best friend pillows, etc… How about kids who miss their parent or parents when away from them having a pillow to bring along with their picture? I already ordered my first pillows from CVSphoto.com of  my kids to check it out How cute will this be on a pillow…

Next up…be looking for info on my trip to Vancouver later this week. Lots of fun stuff happening there and TONS of photos with my new Canon camera and Eye-Fi SD card

So cool! They came out great… It helps to have the cutie patootie kiddos as models for them I love Lain’s scrapbook layout in the cap too. It’s small but still cool looking. Can’t wait till they get them in the mail. I’m headed off to the post office now!

Crazy Girls Weekend - Photobook Hostess Gift

Such an amazing weekend where I discovered that you can’t be sad when you are skipping or jumping into a pool. See? We spent the weekend lolling by the pool, floating around, occasionally attempting some Buddha dives, chatting with quality friends, eating amazing food, etc…what more could a girl ask for?

This time my friend Annelise held the flip while I made the photobook at the Sam’s Club site. So much fun! Can’t wait to present our friend Jill with the book as a thank you for the fabulous weekend in paradise

Oh, and just so you get to see a little more of the action…here is a video of our bellydancing evening. Such great exercise and you can’t help but smile while you are wiggling your hips to Shakira.

Photo Mosaic for Father’s Day

I found the option to make a photo mosaic on the Walmart Photo Centre site. Check out how easy (and cool) it is! I decided to make a mosaic for the kids dad for Father’s day of our sweet dog that we just had to euthanize…
